I hope we can all learn from each other. Again, your acknowledgment meant a lot.Maryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10434681693053072140noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3930974220184517677.post-88848340376576560482009-03-13T04:08:00.000-07:002009-03-13T04:08:00.000-07:00Come BACK!!!!! :)Come BACK!!!!! :)Funderstormhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04406559808853286895noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3930974220184517677.post-87398506410374607262009-02-27T15:57:00.000-08:002009-02-27T15:57:00.000-08:00I was going to leave a comment very similar to Sha...I was going to leave a comment very similar to Shari's above. It's okay to have different views, but I don't think it's kind to put down traditions that are different from yours. That's a heart issue as well.Samhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13069417648988456196noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3930974220184517677.post-69073440959989411422009-02-26T13:55:00.000-08:002009-02-26T13:55:00.000-08:00I found out today that they use ashes from palms o...I found out today that they use ashes from palms of last year's Palm Sunday. We want to feel closer to Jesus and we want to be constantly reminded during this season of the supreme sacrifice that He made on our behalf. When you give up something you love, it makes you remember each time you grab for it, that you've given it up for a very short period of time. It's the same principal as sacrificial giving....it's supposed to hurt a little bit. I guess you could call it "works" if you want to, but to Catholics, it's a "heart" thing.Shari Uhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01069658983242566841noreply@blogger.com
