A Bit Unraveled
I am so looking forward to June 6th when I'll be finished with this job. Though some great things have happened because of my working this past school year, I am ready to have my life back, blog more, visit other blogs again, cook some good meals at home, clean my house, do some scrapbooking, play with PandaGirl, read, do Bible studies, ANYthing that resembles the way I like to do things. Still very busy after June 6th with various children's ministry activities with PandaPop, taking care of my mom who just had double knee replacement surgery last week and lives two hours away, gearing up for new adoption plans and so on, and so on, and so on. It seems like so many people around us are losing their jobs, friends with life-threatening illnesses, worldwide events causing chaos, etc. and there seems to be a general state of anxious knocking at my own heart's door with so many things on my plate, but I am reminded of the Truth of God's Word: Philippians 4:6-7 "Do not be anxious about anything, but by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God and the peace of God which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus."
With so much going on in the next couple of weeks, I have to say "HOLD ON" with my blog posts until after June 6th. Maybe then I can catch up a bit and post some recent pics. Can't wait to get back in the groove and visit YOU and your blog!
Blessings...

I LOVE A GOOD PARODY!
I love parodies and think they are hilarious! PandaPop has always devoured anything from Weird Al and my Over-the-Pond-BFF has a husband who can come up with these silly songs faster than anyone I've ever met! He could easily make an album of his own with all his funnies. This guy here is Tim Hawkins who is a Christian comedian. Enjoy the humor in life!

Tender Hearts or Just Emotional?
PandaGirl and I swung by the library yesterday since we are off for Swine Break.
(SIDENOTE: The crazy Health Dept. and school system announced 3:30pm on Tuesday that school was BACK IN SESSION as of Thursday---today!!! WHAT?!! Sorry, we already made plans. We'll be back on Monday...as stated by THEM! Yeah, my supervisors loved me telling them I was going to be out anyway. A friend of a friend's took their kids to Hawaii for the week....like they're going to fly back for school! HA! Crazy stuff around here, I tell ya.)
Anyway back on track---we picked up several books, one being this beautifully printed Puff the Magic Dragon. Now, I know many people believe that song was written as a cover for smoking pot or something, but I always loved it as a kid. In fact, it would bring me to tears EVERY time I listened to how little Jackie Paper grew up and didn't go visit Puff anymore making Puff very sad. That BROKE MY HEART and I CRIED!!! Yesterday, PG and I were listening to the CD that came with the book and lo & behold---I CRIED! LOL! ; ) I look over at PG to tell her what's wrong with myself----AND SHE'S CRYING TOO! HAHAHA!!! We are such typically emotional girls! Then I started cracking up because of our matching temperaments when it comes to lonely green dragons. Actually, I loved the moment because of the way it bonded us together even more than we already are. Sweet.; )

To Be Funny or To Be Freaked?....That Is The Question
First, I must say I have seriously prayed for this S*wine**Fl*u to be contained and that NO MORE people die from it.
However, where I live there are some quick judgments being made as precautions. Good to be prepared.
I'm not in a frenzied state of mind, but there is a "buzz" around here that has people kinda acting crazy!! Our ridiculously HUGE school district let us know about 20 minutes before school was out today that we won't have school ALL NEXT WEEK due to scrubbing the schools down in hopes of eradicating ANY trace of the nasty virus that has our country and world running around like chickens with their heads cut off. No offense to any other barn yard animal not included in the recent days.
Be wise. Wash your hands. Don't cough in people's faces. Go to the doctor if you have flu-like symptoms. Trust God and don't panic. He is always in control.
